The Company was formed by husband-and-wife Dave and Natasha Biddle, who first met when working in the turf industry 16 years ago. At that time, Dave was a Sports turf manager and Natasha was the company health and safety, payroll and HR administrator.
Fast forward 16 years and we have had the opportunity to move from Auckland to Tauranga, starting up a new division for the company Dave had worked for most of his working career. Dave was Operations Manager for over 12 years in Tauranga, where he grew the team from 5 staff to 25 staff. The original team of 5 started with the Tauranga city council sports fields maintenance contract, which slowly grew in size, scope and quality, as Tauranga City itself rapidly grew in population. Cricket Blocks, Drainage, irrigation and surface renewal work all started to be taken on by the team, and the opportunity then came to branch out and work with schools on their sports fields, whether it be maintenance, field renovations or sports field upgrade work. With the Biddle family roots now well established in the Bay of Plenty, it's now the ideal time and opportunity to showcase our passion and commitment to making a difference to green space areas, that play such an important role in people's health and well-being. We also want to see the turf industry succeed, which sees Dave on the Central North Island Turf Managers Association committee, as well having alot of experience working with School gateway programs to promote the industry and what it can offer school kids looking at their future work careers. |
